Hello,

If this full screen problem is the usual one were the user logs in on the 17" screen and then moves the session to a 15" screen, with lower resolution there is not much you can do unless you FORCE both screens to display with the SAME LOW resolution with utxconfig(1)

/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utxconfig -r 1024x768 -t token
Token is the Sun Ray SMARTCARD-ID

You find a users TOKEN with the utwho(1) command

You need to know which resolution can be displayed by both screens ! 1024x768 should work but if the 15" screens are old its possible that they only can run 800x600 pixels.

I dont use any USB CD-Drives so i dont know about them, Its unlikely that they will be effective due to the fact that they will be LAN connected over
100 Mbit ethernet ( 8 MegaBytes per second , best case )

There are no external CD Drives listed here:
http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/sunray/sunray1.html

There are lots of external CD drives here :
http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/usb/USB7.html

so why are they not usable on a Sun Ray ?
its libusb that does the job in both attach senarios isn't it ?

Hi,
We have a situation where the users are unable to view full screen on 15" monitors. In the same environment, users are able to view properly on a 17" monitor. Also, the users have a need to connect external CD drive on the local USB ports.
Please help us.
With regards
