These are messages from the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) daemon as it
brings up IPsec:

PH1 = IKE Phase 1 negotiation
PH2 = IKE Phase 2 negotiation
agg = aggressive mode
quick = quick mode
ident = ident/main mode
I = Initiator
R = Responder
msgx = message x in the negotiation
est = established

See IETF RFCs 2407, 2408, and 2409. There might be some information in
the admin guide.
