This is the configs I used in GNome2.6 before I had SDM.

Not sure they are directly applicable on gnome 2.19 though

gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory -s -t bool /apps/metacity/general/reduced_resources true gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory -s -t string /apps/gnome-session/options/logout_effect black gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory -s -t bool /apps/gnome-session/options/show_splash_screen false gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory-s -t list --list-type string /apps/panel/global/disabled_applets \ '[OAFIID:GNOME_NetstatusApplet]'

Hi,
I am using a number of SRSS running the latest SXDE. Is there a website
or other resource listing Sun Ray performance tweaks that can be applied to
this version? OK, I know it's not "officially" supported, but it works very
well, and my users "love" the latest desktop.

Things that immediattly spring to mind are as follows:

Disable show window contents whilst dragging.
Prevent users from changing backdrop
Force blank screen screensaver (don't allow users to change)

Any other useful ones?

Many thanks
