Hello,

I've looked over Craig Bender's post about serial port usage on the
sunray windows connector... which works quite nicely.

I want to keep a sunray in my data closet (with a serial cable attached)
so that I can manage my cisco equipment. While the Windows connector
works well enough, does anyone have any suggestions for proper
connection in Solaris?

I'm trying to use the TIP program, and in my /etc/remote file I added
the following profile:

cisco::dv=$DTDEVROOT/unit/dev/term/a:br#9600:el=^C^S^Q^U^D:ie=%$:oe=^D:

Here's where I get with this:
# tip cisco
all ports busy
#

If I simply run:
#tip $DTDEVROOT/unit/dev/term/a
the dtterm session hangs, and I have to pkill tip.

Thanks for any help.

~Bob
