Dear all,
we use a system with a Sun-Ray Server and a Windows 2003 TS server as backend (only Win.Soft :( ). Standard work has a good performance but if we open a TIF-file and we want to rotate it, the system needs a really long time to do it. If someone starts a Powerpoint presentation (no animations, only slides and pictures) it takes a long time to switch from one slide to the next. If we connect a USB-Camera to a Sun-Ray it will be detected and mounted, but it takes a really long time to transfer data and to create a preview. Has someone any experience using the uttsc connector? It seems we have a performance problem because if I connect via RDP directly to the system everything is fine.

We have the following installation/configuration:
- a X2100 M2 Server as Sun-Ray Server (AMD 1210 CPU + 4GB RAM), serving 8 Sun-Rays.
- running kiosk mode with the Sun Ray connector for Windows
- config: -t 1800 -- -m -b -r disk:USB=/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/$LOGNAME 192.1.....

-a X2200 M2 Server as Windows Terminal Server (AMD 1210 CPU + 4GB RAM)

Thank you very much in advanced

Thomas
