I was part of a bandwith test last spring with Sun Ray 2 and the
T2000 box as a Sun Ray server running the Windows connector
to a MS Terminal server .
We proved that acceptable usability with the Windows 2003 desktop can
be achived with 128 Kilobit / Second per concurrent user.
Ofcourse this is slower than the perfomance on correctly sized PC.
If You are running Gnome activate the Metacity "Reduced Resources"
option to show a wireframe when moving windows.

Hi,
After success on the installation on SRSS 4.0 on OpenSuse 10.2
We had deployed SunRay for 12 users today. But when 4 concurrent users start
login. We had problem that the screen start lagging when we open, close or drag
window.
Is there any best practices, how big the network or bandwidth best for Sun Ray
deployment including the deployment schema if possible.
Do we need to deploy using load balancing NIC?
Please advice.
Thx
