HI,

Anybody using Office 2003 Sp3 esp Excel 2003 with Sunray 2FS DTU, Type 7
USB keyboards and Windows XP Pro Virtual Machine has some funny issues?
I
have two:
1) Shift + arrow keys does not work. It will not highlight the cells.
The
arrow keys move the page up or down instead of moving to the adjacent
cell.
A direct RDP connection to the Windows XP VM does not have this problem.

2) Doing multiple copy & paste operation in Excel will fail after a
while
saying something like can't complete copy operation. Has to restart
WinXP
VM to resolve.

Specs:
1) SRSS 3.1
2) Solaris 10 x86 64-bit, running as a VM on VMware ESX 3.0.1
3) Sunray 2FS DTU, single head, type 7 rev 2 usb keyboard
4) Windows XP Pro VM - 256/384MB RAM, 18GB HDD, SP2, vmtools

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Alan

Alan,

This sounds somewhat similar to a problem I had in Excel when the
arrow scroll bars wouldn't work. The problem was solved with Windows
Connector 1.1. At the time, we were using SRSS 3.1 [since upgraded to
4] and Windows connector 1.0.
