Dominik, Have you tried a type 6 keyboard or a standard (non swiss german) keyboard. You might want to open a case with Sun, in case its a known bug.

I was running SRSS 4.0 with 127553-01 on Solaris 10U2 X86. Attached are some Sunray1 with type 7 keyboard (swiss german). Everything was running fine until I upgraded the server to Solaris 10 Update 4 using the Solaris upgrade function. Since then, the keyboard on the Sunray refuses to accept some letters like "c" or "g,h,j,j" etc. Some keys are working ("f" for example). This behaviour starts at the dtlogin screen so I'm not even able to log in anymore. Restarting SRSS, rebooting, running the full 'smpatch update' did not help. Funnily, when using an old type 6 keyboard (swiss german), all the keys work (I'm typing this posting with it :) ). Anyone got an idea what happened here? I searched a lot on Sunsolve and Google, but the problems described with the type 7 only apply to SRSS 3.1 and SR2. /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages does not show any errors Rgds, Dominik -- ****************************** Dominik Frey UNIX Systems Engineer BANK CIC (SCHWEIZ) AG Informatik Marktplatz 11-13 CH-4001 Basel Phone: +41 61 264 16 05 Natel: +41 79 262 95 12 Fax: +41 61 264 12 01 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW: http://www.cic.ch/ Confidentiality Notice This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addressed.
