I've got slightly different problems with flash.

On one of my servers any flash video player freezes the browser untill the video is full streamed.
It's really annoying going to a page with a video player that is set to autoplay. If the video player is set NOT to autoplay, then the page only freezes if you hit play. Same thing happens with Flash 7 that came with Solaris and Flash version 9,0,47,0
I think I've tried Flash 9,0,115,0 too, and I think that just straight up froze the browser on any kind of flash. Not confirmed though on that.
Also the ps command is  super slow on this server.

On the other server flash works fine as does the ps command.

Both are fresh installs of Solaris 10 08/07 with SRSS 4.0
One server has been fully patched using smpatch, so probably didn't patch apply any SRSS specific patches.
The other server is just a stock Sol10 08/07 install and flash and ps work fine.

So one of the patches I imagine jacked something.

I used to have Solaris 10 01/05 with SRSS 3.1 on both machines and the same problem except the servers with the problem have now switched. Both of those systems were fully patched too.... So I don't know. Right now I'm having to install the Flash Block extension. I might do another fresh install and avoid patching, but isn't really a good long term fix.

did anyone manage to hear a sound when playing flash videos from
youtube or similar? I can try whatever I want, my Sun Ray is silent.
Other sound (xmms etc) is working.
I am using SRSS 4 w/ latest patchset in CentOS 5.

Flash/youtube Sound works fine from SRSS 3.1 on Solaris 10 going to a
SunRay 1g or 170.
