Hey folks,
A friend of mine has accidently run a utreplica -u on his primary
and needs to bring it back up. He can not re-run utreplica -p -a
"hosts" because it says that they are already replicated to a server.
The configuration is as follows:
hostname1 is the primary with a DNS CNAME of hostname1-primary
All secondaries point to the CNAME.
% utreplica -u
was run on the primary.
Trying to repair the damage has failed. We are trying to run:
% utreplica -p -a hostname2
Sun Ray Core Services 4.0
Administration Failover Configuration
Adding new secondary servers to the current secondary list
utreplica: Error, hostname2 is already configured as a secondary server
with a different primary.
Is there a way to re-import the secondary host information on the
primary? It's not an option to re-run utreplica on the secondaries.
Thanks in advance
-Steve
