Hi, 

   The Sun Rays  expect to Negotiate for the Ethernet 
LINESpeed.  
 If they cant negotiate they get stuck in 10Mbps  Half 
duplex,  beleiving they are connect to a stupid HUB.

There has been discussions on this list about  wierd behavior 
with GiGabit switches. 
Maybe someone that was involved in this can recap the 
discussion for you.
