Does that happen with all applications, or just specific ones?
On a 2FS it probably happens with all applications. To software on the
server, two monitors on a 2FS look like one large monitor.
I've noticed that on my multi-head configuration (a dual, with a 170
and a 1g) that native Solaris apps seem to just randomly pick one screen
to pop up on (but with about 3 columns of pixels hanging off onto the
second screen).
This configuration is different. Here the server sees this as two screens.
However, our in house (Java) software spreads all the
way across both screens. Our software queries the screen for size to
determine how big to make the windows and the result we get is a single
large screen, no indication it's actually 2 screens...
You need to use functions from java.awt.GraphicsEnvironment to find out
about multiple, screen or the size of the default/main screen.
