Hi all,

I have two sun rays in a branch office and some more in the head office. The companies main srs and application server runs on a big box in the head office. The branch office with a 192.168.2.X network is connected to the head office with a 10.0.0.X network via a router, actually a Netra X1 with SRSS installed. So the Sun Rays in the branch office get their ipaddress via dhcp from the SRSS running on the Netra. But I want these sun rays to connect to the SRSR running in the head office (10.0.0.202). This is easy with the new sun rays with the gui firmware. I just entered 10.0.0.202 for the sun ray server and voila. However, we still have a couple of Sun Ray 1Gs and a Sun Ray 170 (no gui firmware) I also would like to use in the branch office. How can I convince these machines to connect to 10.0.0.202? I suppose I could use the Session - Remote Login feature of dtlogin (not tried yet) but I would like these machines to connect to 10.0.0.202 by default.

I am sure this can easily be accomplished via a simple setting in the sun ray / dhcp configuration on the Netra but I haven't figured out yet what exactly has to be done. Hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

   Andreas
