I'm running SRSS 4.0 on a Sun T2. We had an event this morning where all of our DTUs dropped off the server at once. Running utadm -l showed the network interface as off. I brought it back up but still no sessions were coming up. A warm restart of services did not help. DTUs were getting addresses from the server via dhcp but not connecting and getting a session. Stupidly, I neglected to note the status code on the DTU. A cold reset got us up and running again. We did have VNC sessions running on the server and we tried to connect to those before doing the cold restart to see if the sessions were still there but they were not.

In the authd log I see this:

I see the following utauthd messages in the log file:

I haven't been able to find what "exit code 2" is.

This is a test server that we are running outside of the production environment so the impact was minimal but I'm very curious to know what happened. Our SRSS 3.1 server cluster has never done anything like this. Can anyone help lend a little insight? Did utauthd just crash perhaps?

Big thanks in advance.

Elliott
