Some notes on gnome-sound-recorder on Solaris 10u4 and gnome 2.6
I have verified that sound recording with sdtaudio from a microphone
on a Sun Ray 1G works .
with the same user account and the same Sun Ray unit i only get
garbled noise in the rythm that
i have talked in the microphone from gnome-sound-recorder.
That tells me that something is getting through to
gnome-sound-recorder , and a truss trace
shows that it does open the AUDIODEV device that the Sun Ray is
using presently.
Can gnome-sound-recorder be configured in any way to sample the
Audio stream correctly ?
