Mohamad,

USB scanners are not currently supported using the Sun Ray Windows Connector from WTS.

This project is underway.

Hi all
I hope you all the best for ever :-)
We work with SRSS 4 on "Solaris 10 11/06 s10x_u3wos_10 X86" and Windows connector 2 to connect to "MS Windows 2003" in our organization, we need to work with scanners and we can do this: Attach the scanner to the SRSS server and work with it from the server it self
Attach the scanner to the SRSS server and work with it from the thin clients
Attach the scanner to the SRSS server and work with it from the Windows using the "xsane" Attach the scanner to the SRSS server and work with it from the Windows using the "xsane" and a "sane to TWAIN" bridg
Attach the scanner to the thin client and work with it from the thin client

all that is very good, but what I actually need is
Attach the scanner to the thin client and work with it from the Windows (open the session using the "uttsc" command, and doing this later by the kiosk mode) using the "xsane" and a "sane to TWAIN" bridg

the problem is that I can't do the last step which is the target for the project :-( I don't know how to tell the sane server to use the scanners that attached with the thin clients, for sure I'll need to do that later automatically using some script but
it is an other issue.

I searched Google and find this page "http://blogs.sun.com/ThinkThin/entry/sun_ray_connected_scanners_in";
and it was helpfule but it didn't do the last step.
Can you help me plase.

Thank you in advanced
