Jim,
We prefer to make the check for SRSS version at SRWC runtime rather than
at install time, because what stops a user from changing the SRSS
version underneath SRWC ?!

I tried installing a trial Windows 2008 Standard server on a
X2200M2 (went smooth, except for the part where RKVM and BIOS
refused to see the redirected ISO image, and then for no reason
they decided to see it). Then I tried connecting to its Remote
Terminal services with various clients.
mstsc from windows 2003 works ok.
uttsc 1.1_15_03 painted an initial desktop and threw a
segmentation fault
rdesktop 1.4.1 (ancient, I know) refused to connect due
to assertion errors
Question: we plan on using/offering Windows 2008 with uttsc
Sun Rays. Apparently it doesn't work as of the version we have
(SRSS3.1 SPARC + Patches).
Is it known to work with a more current release of uttsc
(should we upgrade) or does it not yet work (should we wait)?
