Dear users,
These are my server settings:
- SFT2000
- SRSS 4.0
- SRWC 2.0
- Interface e1000g5 (172.16.2.11) connect to my office LAN.
- Interface e1000g4 (10.0.0.1) connect to SunRays.
- Policy: No card = No access.
- Policy: Card = Kiosk CDE
It was running well until this morning, somehow, my sunray private
interface e1000g4 was down (no LED at the interface port). My colleague
unplumb e1000g4 and plumb it back and he can see the port LED start
blinking. After that he issued utrestart -c command.
As soon after the command, all my sunrays keep restarting without
launching Kiosk mode. At the sunray, i saw the client has received IP
address and also i saw some Kiosk session error. SunRay admin gui,
Advanced tab, Kiosk Mode i saw the following message "No Kiosk Session
Descriptors Installed. Kiosk Mode requires at least one session
descriptor to be installed on the server". Also i cannot find any
options to create Kiosk configuration/settings.
You can't create kiosk session through the GUI. Kiosk sessions need to
be installed (they are a piece of software).
The actual Kiosk setting was to launch Kiosk CDE.
Please use the pkginfo(1) and pkgchk(1M) tools to verify the integrity
of packages
