does your redirected drive use?

  Most probably, if it's a USB thumb drive, it's FAT (or FAT32), and
AFAIK FATs do have a 2Gb filesize limit. The problem is, at least the
Windows OS wouldn't let create such big files in the first place...

  I did have problems copying large DVD ISO images to my old Win2k
workstation until I realized I tried to write them to a FAT partition;
upgrade to NTFS and retry went well :)
