Hi,

I.have to publish a Windows 2003 desktop with SunRay 4 in kiosk mode.

I 've installed the Windows connector on the SunRay server and I get the

Windows remote desktop. I've created the users on the Windows system.

Now I've the problem for mapping USB device connected

to the Sun thin client in the kiosk session...the system don't recognize

the USB device (in the SunRay GUI I've checked the "enable USB").

How did you find out whether it's not recognized or not?.
When you insert a usb mass storage disk it will automatically
mount under /tmp/SUNWut/mnt/$USER. And that needs to
passed for uttsc to get that showed on windows session.

uttsc -r disk:M=/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/$USER .....

Then I don't know how a user can print using the virtual desktop published

with SunRay (local and printer network).

uttsc -r printer:print queue..

See uttsc man page for more details on the different options of uttsc.

Go through SRSS admin guide for Configuring printers on Sun rays
and go thorugh SRWC admin guide for how to use printers with uttsc.

Thanks

Note: These are my personal opinions, nothing to do with my employer

There are special command or

configuration in the SunRay server? The printer system is the same above

Terminal Server protocol (with the same limitations) or SunRay has improved

the functionality?

Thanks a lot for your help...

and sorry for my English .

I hope my questions are pertinent with this useful mailing list.

Bye.

Nicola
