Hello Nimish Shah

First of all, you have to register your redhat instalation at redhat networks
(http://rhn.redhat.com).
Then you can use the "up2date" application to install any update availabble,
but it will always update to the latest version (a.k.a. redhat 4 update 6).

if you want to know a version of any program, first you have to know the name
of the package of that program, i.e. grub or gdm, then you can query the
version of the inatelled package executing "rpm -q grub" or "rpm -qi gdm", the
first one just tells you the name and version of the package, while the second
gives you more information, like date of compilation, version, etc.

i hope this can help you, if you need more help just let me know.
