I am running the update 3 beta on linux now. I am happy to see that the
Xv extension is indeed there - but I am not too impressed with the
performance and quality. With mplayer playback its difficult to spot a
significant difference in performance and quality between video using
X11 and Xv. This is with Sun Ray 1.
I would be interested in hearing if anybody has other experiences - e.g.
with Sun Ray 2.
