Hi,

I think this is something to do with S10u5 not SRSS 4.1
I routinely use /etc/default/login and /etc/default/su for setting up PATH's for all users. But realised that it did not "take hold" on S10u5 systems. It works on S10u4 so somethings changed with JDS startup I guess,
I haven't tracked it down yet.

hello,
I just installed SRSS4.1 beta on a sparc solaris 10 test machine.
So far I noticed two things:
1) /etc/defalut/login is not read / parsed when logging in using a SunRay client, but is interpreted ok when ssh login to machine
what would be the solution?

What makes you think that it isn't read/honored?
Does it behave as you expect with a console login or prior versions of SRSS?
What SRSS policy are you using (Output of /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utpolicy)?
