Hello SunRay-Users,

I've got a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 for use at
home, and plugged it in a Sun Ray 1. Actually that happened long
ago, several months now.

What I didn't notice before (perhaps it changed over time, or I
never had the need) is that the function keys (F1-F12) don't work.

This USB keyboard has a special function-toggle key (F-Lock)
which changes the other F-keys between traditional F1-F12 codes
and extended codes (Help, Undo, Save, etc.) It also has some more
"silver" keys to control the volume, etc.

The problem is, at the moment neither of these keys produce a
keycode (according to /usr/openwin/demo/xev). The F-Lock key doesn't
react to my keypresses and the Function keys don't do anything -
this happened to be a bad thing. (How could I live without them
for so long that I couldn't notice whether/when they were gone?)

I've googled up a number of Linux threads, many state that the
recent Linux kernels have added a specific driver to support the
"MSNEK4K".

The question is, is it a problem with my software setup, or with
the Sun Ray hardware/software itself with interaction capabilities
to the keyboard? Is there any simple way to get the F-keys working?
