You need to find out. OSD 26 is the DTU waiting on the x-server. Unless we have a bug somewhere, the session wouldn't be usable.

I can't be sure of the code, but I believe it is 26D. I will try and
catch the code the next time it appears. Problem is I have instructed
the SunRay users on what to do when it occurs, as we a 24/7 facility and
it prevents them from having to call out someone in the middle of the
night to fix the screen.

Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] Connection Icon after login

What's the OSD code on the icon? Wierd if it's a connection icon if the

session is usable.

I am running Solaris 10 sparc and SRSS 4.0 with 127553-03 on 5 SunRay servers and one Primary replication server with no connection to the dedicated SunRay VLAN supporting approximately 60 SunRays.

About once a day or so, one of the SunRay units will have a connection

icon bouncing around the screen even though the user is logged in. It

requires a power cycle of the unit to clear the connection icon.

Does anyone have an idea what might be happening or how I should start

to troubleshoot this problem. Except for the fact that the icon obstructs the user's view to applications and terminal windows, it
does
not affect the session functionality.
