You can download the latest PC/SC-lite from here:

It's important because PC/SC is mechanism that Personal Computers talk
to Smart Cards.
But "registered mode" on Sun Ray and smart cards has nothing to do with
authentication. In addition to PC/SC, you're going to need smart cards
supported by the OS you are trying to authenticate against (assuming
that you are using uttsc to windows since that's the most common place
where the message is seen), cert servers, enrollment stations, and
possibly middleware.

I am not able to authenticate with smartcard. Do you have any
idea, why it
is so? I have registered the card to authenticate, when next time
I login
with card, but when I place the card it will guve me a blank
screen rather
giving the my session. What could be the reason to have such problem.
Any idea, what is this all about? I tried to search on web, but no
luck.
