A RDP 6.x server should work fine with a RDP 5.2 client, afaik.
We're now running Windows 2008 for some of our student systems. The specific
issues that I'm seeing (relative to 2008) with SRWC 2.0 (and 2.1 beta) is
colour depth. Regardless of the server settings the SRWC say that 24bit
colour is not supported by the sever and falls back to 16bit colour.
Right and same issue is seen with ms-rdp client.
Seems like windows 2008/Vista behaviour..??
I've
also seen some segfaults in the SRWC (2.0 -- I haven't tested this much yet)
when reconnecting with the session broker.
