Ok been prodding it with a stick to see what happens with the keyboard.
I have managed to get it to a UK - ie shift 2 give " - did this by
setting all the US to UK.
But the layout is still crazy.
Also the layout on gdm is different to when you are in a gnome session -
fun stuff! That something that I have done and an not sure how to fix :(
Again any ideas?
