I’ve never ran into a problem with flash, but I’m not sure we’re running any
websites that were using flash to display content. Our problem was related to
the fact that one of our programmers wrote some code that used some deprecated
features.

Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] Firefox 3 working w/SRSS yet?

Is this happening with Adobe Flash running on websites? That is a big issue
that hasn't been sorted out by SUN as far as I know. Our installation uses
Firefox and Seamonkey browsers but we have to use a Windows Terminal server
running IE to get any websites to run with flash. Flash will crash the sunray
servers.

Does anybody using a Linux/SRSS4 combination have Firefox 3 running yet? Last
time I tried it it was still randomly hanging for our users. If I remember
correctly other people on here were having the same issue, and nobody had
developed a workaround yet. Just curious; I'd really like to get that smaller
memory footprint on our bogged servers.
