Dear SunRay users,
I haven't try on setting up a serial or USB printer directly to my
SunRay 1/170 clients.
Basic info on my Demo setup: We use SR1 and SR170 to connect to Windows
XP instance via VMware and Virtual Center. So far, i have successfully
connect myself using smartcard to my XP Desktop.
Questions:
1) I have this printer "Olivetti PR2E" which uses serial cable. How can
i configure this serial printer on my SR170 client and redirect to my XP
Desktop
2) If i use SR1 client and i planned to use KeySpan adapter (USB ->
Serial), how can i use this adapter to connect the serial printer and
redirect to my XP desktop
My Setup environment:
1) SFV240 - Solaris 10
2) SRSS 4.0 with latest patches
3) SR Connector 2.0
4) VMware 3.5
5) Virtual Center 2.5
Can anyone give me and show me a guide, if possible a cookbook?
