dear all,
after updating to centos4.7 firefox 3 did not want to start on the thin
clients, but I could start it from server console or even a sshX conection.
the problem is LD_PRELOAD=/etc/opt/SUNWut/lib/$PLATFORM/libc_ut.so
this belongs to SUNWuto-4.0-48.11
unsetting this variable firefox3 works fine.
If I unset it globally what would be the consequences?
centos4.7 x86_64 firefox i386(for java and flash), SRSS4 all patches
