You could use utxconfig to specify Xsun instead of Xnewt for the time
being, until this CR is addressed. The issue is only with Xnewt - Xsun
continues to work as previously.
Of course, you'll miss out on many of the new features of 4.1 in the
meantime, but you'll be ready to quickly switch over to Xnewt once a
patch is available which addresses CR 6638939.
