Hi,

I have upgraded the SRSS from V3.1 to V4.1 on a Solaris10 (5.10 Generic_137111-0) Sparc server and I have done the SunRay station micro-programme update.

Now, the Sun Ray station receive an IP address via DHCP and stop before the login screen, with the "26D" message.

When I perform a /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utquery -d 192.168.254.255 on the server:

terminalID=0003ba141c99
       terminalIPA=192.168.254.130
       model=CoronaP4
       currentAuth=192.168.254.129
       currentFW=4.1_50_2008.09.25.12.37
       currentBarrier=325
       currentBarrierLevel=325
       currentMTU=1500
       Subnet=255.255.255.224
       Router=192.168.254.129
       MTU=1500
       Broadcst=192.168.254.159
       LeaseTim=86400
       DHCPServer=192.168.254.129
       AuthSrvr=192.168.254.129
       AuthPort=7009
       LogHost=***.***.***.***
       FwSrvr=192.168.254.129
       NewTVer=4.1_50_2008.09.25.12.37
       FWservType=FWSrvr
       parmsVersion=4.1_50_2008.09.25.12.37
       parmsBarrier=325
       configMTU=1500
       AltAuth=192.168.254.129,255.255.255.255
       stopqon=0
       bandwidth=100000000

/usr/local [EMAIL PROTECTED] # ping 192.168.254.130
192.168.254.130 is alive

The SunRay station has correctly received the IP.

If, on the server, I perform a :
cat /etc/dt/config/Xconfig
Dtlogin.validPAMclasses: SunRay
#########################################################################
#
# The following entries are dynamically created by Sun Ray.
# It is both dangerous and pointless to edit these lines.
# Any changes made here will be discarded at the next reboot.
#
# Sun Ray required parameters (DO NOT EDIT):
#
Dtlogin.pidFile:        /var/dt/Xpid
Dtlogin.servers:        Xservers
Dtlogin.SunRay.startup:         Xstartup
Dtlogin.SunRay.setup:           Xsetup
Dtlogin.SunRay.reset:           Xreset
Dtlogin.SunRay.startAttempts:   1000
Dtlogin.SunRay.serverAttempts:  4
#
# Sun Ray dynamically created parameters (DO NOT EDIT):
#
# BEGIN SUNRAY CONFIGURATION
Dtlogin.*_2.environment: SUN_SUNRAY_TOKEN=pseudo.0003ba141c99 CORONA_TOKEN=pseudo.0003ba141c9*9*
# END SUNRAY CONFIGURATION

cat /etc/dt/config/Xservers
# BEGIN SUNRAY CONFIGURATION
# END SUNRAY CONFIGURATION

So, the connection between the SunRay Server and the SunRay station seems to be good.

In the logs files, we can find:
cat /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages
Nov 21 13:42:30 server1 gconfd (root-9603): [ID 702911 user.info] GConf server is not in use, shutting down.
Nov 21 13:42:30 server1 gconfd (root-9603): [ID 702911 user.info] Exiting

And here:
cat /var/dt/Xerrors
Fri Nov 14 09:40:25 2008
error (pid 846): Server unexpectedly died

Fri Nov 14 09:40:30 2008
error (pid 846): Server for display :2 can't be started.

It seems to be a problem with the X exportation to the SunRay station...
What could be the reason for stopping procedure on the 26D and the X error ?

Thanks in advance.

Nicolas.
