I would point the Kiosk application to a wrapper script which sets any necessary vars for that app.

i.e.

PATH=$PATH:/opt/acroread/bin
export $PATH

/opt/firefox/bin/firefox

What is the "correct" way to add to the default PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH
for a kiosk session?

Or is this considered out of band... should I be using wrapper scripts
to launch my individual apps?

The specific example here is including the path to acroread so that the
embedded pdfs open properly. In the old CAM I had written my own jds
launcher with a set of commands before gnome-session.. short of
modifying /etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/jds3/jds3-kiosk-session I'm not sure
where to place these things now.
