Hello.

No, not OpenSolaris 2008.11, but SXCE (snv build 97) with gdm and not
dtlogin.
The only thing I haven't done yet is names for system languages in GDM.
C (english) locale is called System Default locale, and I'd like it to
be called "English locale" - sometimes we have foreign students, and it
should be easy for them to use right language.

As for summary about using gdm with SRSS - I've
changed /etc/init.d/utacleanup so it unconditionally sets XMGR to gdm
(it didn't work in other way, maybe it was started before gdm and its
checks didn't work). All our init scripts I put
into /etc/opt/SUNWut/gdm/SunRayPostLogin/helpers/ - they recreate user
environment - and I put cleanup scripts
in /etc/opt/SUNWut/gdm/SunRayPostSession/helpers/.

After that I've cleaned out every sessions (desktop files)
from /usr/share/gdm/BuiltInSessions/ and added
[greeter]
ShowGnomeFailsafeSession=false
ShowXtermFailsafeSession=false
ShowLastSession=false
DefaultLocale=ru_RU.UTF-8

to /etc/X11/gdm/custom.conf.

Now gdm is working.
