Not sure about the 270, but the SunRay 2 uses a 12V 2.5A supply with a center positive coax connector. If you can find one lying around with the same specs as your old brick it should work. We had some older Viewsonic LCDs that had brick supplies; I found these useful in replacing some external disk drive briks.

You can chop the connector off a dead one and attach to a replacementif you find a supply that meets spec otherwise, if you're comfortable with that sort of work. Check your work with a DVM before frying a sunray...

Volts need to be exact, Amps can be larger but not smaller.
