Hi James, thanks for your help.
I've just patched the system (SRSS and SRWC patches) and the result is always the same. I've printed in one second one notepad document using only Terminal Server connection (no SunRay server); if I use SunRay technology: 48 seconds. The problem is always UDP traffic (with the entire system upgraded). There is something that controls UDP traffic inside the SunRay server? (iptables is disabled). Thanks. However I would first of all ensure patch 127555-05 were installed which has a number of network fixes in it for SRSS 4.0 on Red Hat plus any other recommend security and performance patches. If you're still seeing the problem then take the Sun Rays out of the picture and attach a monitor to the windows server and repeat your tests. If the problem persists then you can move on and checkcommunication between the windows server NIC and the print server. You might also check for clues in the windows event manager. I've not had any problem with printing from a windows display, is demonstrating printing absolutely necessary in an initial demonstration ?
