We're using ELO touch screens with our SunRay 2's. We didn't have any problems until recently; randomly, the touch screens stop working (monitor part works, the controller that works the mouse pointer seems to quit). The user has to log out of the SunRay using the keyboard, then log back in to get the touch screen to work again.
This happens randomly and does not affect all users. The only common denominator that I can find is that the ones who are affected by this problem are on a separate switch. I have a spare switch that will allow me to change the "affected" switch, which I plan to do in a weekend or two. Personally, the "bad switch" theory doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but it's the only thing I have right now...does anyone have some insight?
