This may be a known bug, CR 6788938.

At least it very much sounds like the issues we have seen frequently on
our version of 4.1. I think that probably is CR 6788938.

AFAIK a fix for this bug is expected in the next release of the SRSS patch.

Are your servers multi-homed?

What exactly do you mean by multi-homed?

That they have multiple network interfaces on different subnets (that aren't Sun Ray interconnects).

Does the crash occur while allocating or deallocating memory?

As I said earlier, I haven't had the time yet to investigate this
further. So I can't tell if it happens when allocating or deallocating
memory. All I do is restart one of the SRSS in a FOG and suddenly after
some minutes the others in the group lose their connection to the sunrays.

This matches what I have been observing.

If this requires a (warm) utrestart to recover, this probably is a crash of utauthd. It would be useful, if you could get a core file for utauthd and show us the stack at which the crash occurs. Without this, we can only guess, if you see the same problem.
