Part of the original problem of figuring out the token has to do with
using registered mode. I really dislike registered mode because if
you're going to do anything with it useful with info associated with the
card, you might as well just config up a token reader and let the admin
do it correctly otherwise you wind up with a lot of typos in the fields
you are trying to use.

I think the runMozilla.sh script in Firefox distributions (not sure if it's
in all of them) actually does symlink resolution using ls and grep...maybe
take a look there.
