Maybe you'd be interested in this? "Poor Man's VDI" http://ebberstwork.blogspot.com/2008/10/poor-man-vdi_22.html * can be done using Solaris or Linux (both can be downloaded for free) (similar instructions on how to do it on Linux + GDM can be found here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=6475112&postcount=8 ) * can be done using VirtualBox (= free!) instead of the costly VMware ESX * it's stupid, it's easy, it works It works tip top and license costs are: 0. (except of course the costs for proprietary operating systems such as Windows XP, etc.) The new VDI 3.0 also seems to support VirtualBox as VM backend it seems? So for a "one man company" I'd rather go this route than spend huge sums of money on e.g. VMware ESX ... just my 0.05€ ;-) Regards, DJM. _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
