Hello Philippe,
I can't see how /usr/lib64/libGL.so and libGLU.so will help me, as Xnewt
does not depend on those, and neither does matlab.
Did you ever get a stack trace from Xnewt when it crashes for you? If
so, could you post it?
Thanks,

If anyone else is experiencing crashes with Xnewt in SRSS, i would like
to hear from them, so as to get a fuller picture of the environments and
applications that are in use when this problem occurs.
I second that. As I have already explained we use several microelectronic
applications that crash Xnewt. I am using CentOs 5.3 and SRSS 4.1 with patch.
1) SILVACO TonyPlot3D
When lauching Tonyplot3D, Xserver
crashes. There is a workaround by using provided libGL.so and libGLU.so in
place of /usr/lib64/libGL.so and /usr/lib64/libGLU.so. Perhaps, you could try
Mathlab with SILVACO provided libs ?
2) COVENTOR preprocessor
With this program, everything is fine until we try to move or resize the
window. This causes a crash of Xnewt.
3) COMSOL
This is a bit off topic. With this application 3D is not working with Xnewt
server on Solaris10 (but no crash). It works with old Xsun server.
