The current build of 4.2 (build 06) in fact doesn't require any of the workarounds on the Wiki page, with the exception of disabling NWAM (and, I think, inserting the gdm stack into pam.conf). Disabling NWAM is likely to remain a requirement.
We're exploring whether or not we can tolerate an open /dev repository for people to test stuff out, and what actual release of SRSS will officially support what actual release of OpenSolaris. It might not be 4.2 and it might not be 2009.06... If you have strong business needs for SRSS on OpenSolaris then getting feedback through your sales channels to Sun Ray marketing is recommended.
