I have a client that has a large number of users on an application that requires a 22" widescreen monitor in portrait mode (1080x1...@60). I'm trying to get Sun Rays up for them running SRSS 4.1 on Solaris x86 10u6 using kiosk mode uttsc. Since RDP just takes the client screen geometry we need to get Xnewt to handle the rotation, but it looks like the rotation function in RandR hasn't been implemented by Sun. I've put in a feature request with Sun but haven't heard anything from them and my rep doesn't seem hopeful. I'm not sure how far anyone has gotten trying to hack Xnewt with Xorg features like this, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's been done already. Has anyone tried to get this working, and if so, did you have any success?
