Thanks Anthony and others, It is a great suggestion, but I forgot to say that I also would like to use hotdesking. It would be great to be able to set an environment variable while connecting/disconnecting. Maybe this is possible with 'utaction' as Patrick suggested earlier.
I'll let you know if I've found a solution. Suggestions are more than welcome!
