It tries to give me a login screen, but fails. Checking the GDM log gives no lead as to what's going wrong. BUT, I'm happy anyway. :) Putting the "-D" back in, everything Just Works. I'll try to get the mobility going as well, but that's priority two right now. :) Bob, thanks for all your help.
