Good Day, I am trying to use the UTRESADM command to set screen resolution per user token. Most of my users don't mind the default of 1280x1024 on the 19" monitors but some would rather 1024x768. I am on SRSS 4.1 (let me know if you need other versions)
I have read the man page for utresadm and for a test have been able to set a default screen resolution for all users on all DTUs with: utresadm -a -c default -t default 1024x...@60. I restart the srss services and then I received the new resolution. Now I want to be able to set a resolution based on one of my payflex tokens so I tried (after I deleted the above setting) utresadm -a -c default -t <payflex user token> 1024x...@60. With this command I get an error stating that if I use default for the DTU then I must user default for the User Token. Am I missing something? I have seen posts that use default for the user token and specify a MAC for the DTU and this works - should this then not work the other way by stating a payflex token to use a specific screen resolution on any DTU it connects to?
