This would be very nice.
Much simpler, however, and solving 90% of my use case would be a hot-key
to bring up a redirect dialog, where I could type in the address of a
server to connect to.
Something that I sometimes resort to is reconfiguring my intelligent
switch to enable the port for my test-server-of-choice and disable all
the others, then let my DTU discover it via DHCP or broadcast. It'd be
neat if I could figure out a way to script that. This approach doesn't
work with VM test servers, however, since they all come in on a single
physical switch port :(.

Has any one considered putting "profile" storage in the DTU firmware? My
Tadpole Comet 15 has that and it is extremely handy.
I test various settings and configurations across several SRSS servers and
constantly have to change settings in firmware. (I know, a KVM switch and 5
DTUs would do the same thing, but that takes up a lot of space. ;0) ) It
would be very nice to be able to load a new profile and get to a different
server or turn on/off VPN, etc.
Just a thought.....
