Hi Jerry,
Apologies for taking so long to close this issue.
Anyway, I've added information in two places:
http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRSS4dot2/About+Multihead+Configurations#AboutMultiheadConfigurations-CreatingaSingleScreenAcrossSeveralMonitors(XINERAMA)
http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRWC2dot2/How+to+Start+a+Windows+Session
Please let me know if these additions address your
feedback.
Thanks!
Paul

Jerry,
Very good point. The page I sent you is SRSS specific, but
I can add a reference to using Xinerama with SRWC and make
the connection more clear (and visible) in the SRWC documentation.
Thanks,
Paul

Perhaps we should submit a feature request for multiple mouse pointers

Paul,
I read through the wiki page you sent. There is a lot of good
information about multihead and XINERAMA, but when I read the text it
is not clear to me that XINERAMA is required for uttsc to span DTUs.
In fact, uttsc is not mentioned on the page at all. If uttsc were
specifically mentioned, then Google would have likely found the page
and I might have more readily connected the dots on my end.
Thanks again for your help!

If I can get clearance, I'll post some photos of our "extremely

When we first got in our batch of sunrays for a new lab we tried the
same
thing. We had two rows of 8 sunrays. It functioned well, but we found
out that
we are not capable of dealing with that much desktop ;) It took
upwards of 10
seconds to just find where the mouse cursor was.
