With kiosk mode not all rays get a windows logon screen, the most 20 of
35, every time different ones after utrestart -c or reboot.

There are known problems with Kiosk Mode on OpenSolaris.
Your log looks perfectly normal (it looks as if two DTUs were reset or
powercycled), except for the 'Invalid TimeZone for translation'
messages. These are message from uttsc. If you have several windows
login screens come up OK, these messages are probably harmless.
What does the 'TZ' environment variable contain on your system (this is
probably set from /etc/default/init)?
